Branding & Packaging

Day Maker

Art Director | Senior Designer

The Day Maker Coffee brand was created with large retail chains such as Kroger and Target in mind. The demographics are folks who want to buy specialty coffee, but who are also cost conscious. Emphasis was put on the packaging look and feel. Day Maker needed to stand out on the shelf, look fresh and modern, yet approachable. I designed the packaging, created the style guide and managed the printing process.

Portland Coffee Roaster’s Rebrand

Art Director | Senior Designer

Portland Coffee Roasters rebranded with a greater emphasis on a down-to-earth, doodle themed, fun, playful and modern design. Additionally, they want to target a younger demographic. My role as the Senior Designer was designing the 12 oz bag, scheduling and overseeing the entire product line roll out, art directing the illustrations, selecting the color palette, creating the style guide, and creating wire frames and prototypes for the web site.

System of Care Logo

Designer (word mark and colors)

The client had two primary targets for this project. Tier 1: Youth audience from 0-18 years of age that encompasses an array of incomes, ages, educational levels. Tier 2: Professional Partners in DHS Child Welfare professionals, Community Professionals, Education Professionals, Health Care System Professionals, and Juvenile Justice Professionals. System of Change’s key takeaway and desired response: Audiences know that SOC is its own entity. It’s both a resource and something to belong to.
